Job Description
Adelphi is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform duties for a Mental Health Department in Essex County New York. This role involves assessing patient needs developing and implementing nursing care plans administering medications monitoring patient progress and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and recovery.

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree/ Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program
Valid New York license
CPR/BLS Certification
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with ECMH Prescribers pharmacies and clients to optimize medication regimens.
Manage Prior Authorizations appeals and formulary medications.
Handle a small caseload of ECMH clients needing medication management.
Conduct quarterly checkins and update Treatment Plans annually.
Maintain documentation in the Electronic Health Record system.
Administer psychotropic injections and provide therapy for SMI clients.
Conduct AIMS assessments for clients on select psychotropic medications or schedule with other providers.
Conduct AIMS assessments for clients on select psychotropic medications or schedule with other providers.
Review client Health Assessments and alert providers of risk factors. Perform Health Screens focusing on education prevention and harm reduction.
Review lab results document Clozapine results in the REMS system and monitor metabolic values.
Participate in the Utilization Review Committee and conduct Quality Indicator/Utilization Review activities.
