Ensure timely and accurate monthend closing and financial reporting to Management.
Prepare and close monthly and annual financial statements.
Process payments for expenses in accordance with approved procedures and agreed credit terms.
Coordinate and liaise with external parties such as external auditors tax agents corporate secretarial agents local tax and government authorities where required.
Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements tax filing requirements audits procedures and forms both statutory and internal.
Manage recruitment activities including but not limited to preparation of job descriptions posting job advertisements arranging interviews preparing employment contracts and onboarding.
Manage staff leave applications and claims.
Handle filing of employee income tax forms.
Prepare monthly payroll.
Assist in the implementation of new processes and systems when required.
Undertake any other adhoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Finance Accounting or a relevant field.
Previous experience as an Accounting executive/officer within the manufacturing industry.
Strong time management skills and the ability to delegate effectively.
Capable of evaluating diagnosing and troubleshooting problems.
A team player with the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
