Draftsperson

This is a remote position.

An amazing opportunity exists to work with a leading Sustainable Home Builders Company as an experienced vibrant and highenergy Draftsman/Draftsperson.

Reporting to the Director and working with direction from the team you will be a selfstarting highly organised and experienced professional with experience in working in a virtual environment.

You will have experience in managing key activities and tasks such as the following:

• Preparing both concept sketches and detailed work with Revit software.
  
• Draft technical drawings for different objects machines and structures
  
• Performing calculations for materials and weight limitations.
  
• Communicating with engineers and the team and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.
  
• Preparing reviewing and redrafting alongside the engineering team.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s Degree in Architecture is a great plus
  
• Minimum of 35 years experience in client relationship management or sales support roles
  
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  
• Experience in Australian Residential Design is highly preferred
  
• Experience with the Australian Building and Construction regulatory landscape. Eg: NaTHERs BCA and NCC Building Standards Metric system Etc.
  
• Experience in various software including; MS Office 365 Autodesk Revit (primary design software) AutoCAD Adobe Photoshop and Acrobat Pro capable.
  
• Selfstarter and able to work unsupervised
  
• Design Leadership capable (1 other design staff member)
  
• Able to take and provide direction
  
• Capable of working to a deadline
  
• Able to work within a workflow (IT tool) and ensure the capture of billable time
