Job Title: Lead Azure Cloud Engineer
Location: Primarily Remote Must reside in the approved hiring States (DC MD VA WV PA DE NJ NC TX FL NY)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Visa Status: USC or GC only
Job Description:
Client is looking for a Lead Cloud Engineer to support the implementation 24x7 operational support automation availability and performance management of clients public cloud platforms. (80% Azure /10% AWS/10% Oracle Cloud). This infrastructure supports critical applications including Claims Processing Enrollment Financial and Portal Websites.
Responsible for leading the evaluation of application and infrastructure cloud readiness and work on the cloud migration plan to support onpremise migration to a cloud service
This resource will be responsible for 1 week of 24/7 on call support every 10 weeks on a rotating basis.
15 years of overall IT architecture infrastructure and/or administration experience
4 years of handson experience in multicloud platforms (Storage Network Backup Database Support) Azure VM experience required
Broad foundational IT skillset including supporting Azure Cloud services Linux/Windows Operating Systems server configurations (including networking storage and security principals)
Handson automation and scripting experience
