Job Description:
Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRMIO) program as a Planner 2 Scheduler.
Provide support to the Office of the Deputy Chief Information Officer (ODCIO) Subject Matter Experts (SME) as needed in their planning and schedule development efforts.
Gather and consolidate multiple SMEs schedule information and input into a ODCIO integrated master schedule to ensure traceability of milestones.
Maintain add and track team actions using project management methodology and standard collaboration tools (SharePoint).
Analyze data for schedule and critical path impact to the program.
Determine schedule quality against industry standards.
Develop and/or support executive reporting as required.
Minimum qualifications:
10 years of professional work experience
Experience managing Information Technology related projects
Experience in tracking costs schedule and performance progress
Able to coordinate between multiple projects and consolidate multiple project schedules define goals objectives deliverables and associated timelines
Experience with drafting status reports defining and gathering requirements
Bachelors degree in engineering Computer Science Systems Business or related scientific/technical discipline or an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in the VA
Experience implementing electronic health records.
