Currently we are seeking a System Analyst 6 for one of our clients that is a leading multination corporation.

Title: System Analyst 6

Location: Lansing MI

Duration: 12 Months contract with possible extension.

This System Analyst position will support LEO E & T workforce development applications One Stop

Management Information System (OSMIS) OSMIS Dashboard Career Explorer Michigan Adult Education

Reporting System (MAERS) and Information Management Performance and Customer Tracking (IMPACT).

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as System/Business Analyst conducting Joint Application Design
• (JAD) sessions with Customers and requirement gatherings.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing
• Minimum 1 year of RDBMS / SQL experience
• Preferred experience in Agile/Scrum
• Experience in SAP BO is a plus.

Job duties of this position include but not limited to:

• Requirement gathering business process analysis/improvement requirements management and software
• testing; Assess As Is and To Be processes and document gaps; collect enduser requirements for
• improving business processes and software via interviews focus groups and other stakeholder discussions.
• Categorize/segment similar requirements and create additional requirements that address client pain
• points.
• Maintain uptodate requirements user stories acceptance criteria test plans (in Excel word docs
• Microsoft Azure) and run reports on the same to inform management discussions.
• Facilitate planning and requirements meetings understand and create solutions to improve user
• experience agile product development support; participate in Sprint ceremonies.
• Collaborate with product development team to translate requirements into technical specifications for the
• proposed solution; design develop and modify software systems using scientific analysis and
• mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
• Maintain reusable scripts technical documentation and specifications; develop user stories and initial
• wireframes to guide the architecture of the proposed solution; develop software test plans.
• Participate in regression testing quality assurance testing user acceptance testing and conduct necessary
• sessions/focus groups with users to capture feedback on functionality being developed within each agile
• sprint; translate user feedback into refined requirements for development team.
• Serve as liaison between client business users and development team communicating and interpreting
• requirements and technical solutions.
• Collaborate to elicit new product ideas and improve existing solutions; program management
• documentation support including developing highquality presentations for client meetings; and
• participate in team and customer meetings documenting notes and action items; basic knowledge of
• relational database management systems (RDBMS) Structured Query Language (SQL) and Microsoft
• products Word Excel and Visio.
