Scrum Master for Hybrid role in Chicago IL

Scrum master is responsible for facilitating and guiding the scrum team in adopting and implementing the Scrum framework which includes organizing and leading Scrum ceremonies removing impediments promoting collaboration and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and values. The scrum master is a crucial member of the Agile development team responsible for implementing and maintaining the Scrum framework. Their primary role is to facilitate the Scrum process remove obstacles and ensure that the team follows the Agile principles and practices.

They work closely with the product management and development team to plan and execute sprints daily standups sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives. Scrum master roles and responsibilities include:

creating and maintaining project timelines

• identifying and managing risks and monitoring progress against project goals.

Objectives of this role

• Facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes within the company.
• Ensure the team works collaboratively and efficiently to deliver highquality products.
• Work with product owner to prioritize backlog.

Agile frameworks Scrum Kanban and SAFe in particular

Handson experience with Jira and Jira Roadmaps Jira Dashboards JQL Jira Workflows

SDLC processes design and implementation

CI/CD and basic Release Management experience/understanding

Good communication and interpersonal skills accustomed to working in a team environment with tight schedules and capable of working efficiently under pressure managing multiple teams and mentoring subordinates in other Functional areas.

Summary of tasks

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily standup meetings sprint planning sprint review and sprint retrospective.

Identify and troubleshoot obstacles that are hindering the teams progress.

Schedule connects to ensure the impediments are resolved within the timeline.
