We want to further strengthen our Program Management Team at our Business Unit Headquarter in Schwarzenbruck.
Tasks
As a Program Manager in the R&D Program Management office you will be accountable for the management of projects and programs ensuring they are delivered within quality time and budget in line with the Business Unit strategy.
You will ensure a strong relationship with all internal and external stakeholders to guarantee the delivery of program goals.
More specifically you will be responsible to:
- Define the projects roadmap consistently with the market but also with other product lines.
- Manage simultaneously various types of hardware and software projects from early predevelopment phase to the maintenance phase of our products.
- Act as an enabler of crossfunctional collaboration mainly with R&D Operations Commercial and Regulatory teams.
- Organize and coordinate the necessary internal/external resources (material and labor) up to the end of the project depending on the business/scope
- Analyze and manage risks (technical feasibility financial resources safety health ...).
- Lead and coordinate project team in related fields of business (pharma equipment ...).
- Be the main internal/external contact point for the project execution; seek customer satisfaction and ensure support to internal and/or external customer/partners.
- Ensure reporting is clearly communicated and action plans are proposed for decisionmaking.
- Identify development issues early and seek continuous improvement
- Manage the transfer of project to the team in charge of postproject support (Customer Service department product manager operations ).
- Participate actively to the setup development and improvement of tools processes environment and structure in collaboration with the Program Management team.
Requirements
To succeed in this role you should have the following skills and experience:
- A master degree in engineering/science/management with a strong technical interest or an equivalent experience;
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing projects through the full life cycle and proven ability to complete them according to outlined scope budget and timeline.
- Experience in the medical devices industry is a plus.
- Fluent in English language speaking and writing required.
- Strong familiarity with project management methodologies software tools and best practices.
- A team player with very good interpersonal skills ready to work in a complex and international environment.
- Proactive person willing to take initiatives and able to drive change.
- A customeroriented person with excellent communication skills including presentation of ideas.
- Fascinated by new technologies and always willing to learn.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
- Flexible stress resistant and rigorous person with very good planning & organizing skills able to set priorities.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel 5% to 10%.
