Job Description

As we expand our operations we are seeking for a seasoned Operations Manager to oversee key aspects of our business operations ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in our processes. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the companys daytoday operational functions. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage Sales Operations along with learning and participating in other operational aspects of the company. Optimal success in this role can lead to growth in the company.

What youll be doing:

Primary Functions:

  • Sales Operations:
    • Assist Sales team in facilitation progress tracking obtaining content and edits with Request For Proposal (RFP) and Sales Proposal production
    • Assist Sales team with procurement of outside product and items purchased from outside vendors
    • Work with HR to produce contracting agreements and work orders
    • Assist Sales team with providing documents needed to onboard new customers and projects to other operations staff
  • Compliance and Certifications:
    • Obtain and maintain the demographic and economic status certifications of the company with various issuing agencies
    • Obtain and maintain the companys ability to conduct business in the locations that are needed
    • Assist with the process and provide detailed status on the various professional and technical certifications that the company has with certifying agencies
    • Work with HR to ensure that professional certificates are obtained and maintained by staff via contractual agreements etc.

Other Functions:

  • Finance Management:
    • Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure efficiency and costeffectiveness
    • Assist with developing and implementing financial controls and processes
  • Contract Management:
    • Ensure timely bookings and renewals for cloud solutions hardware/license procurement and professional services
    • Work closely with the sales and legal teams to ensure contract terms meet company standards and client needs
  • Recruiting and Staffing:
    • Oversee recruitment efforts to alignment with operational needs
    • Collaborate with HR to develop and refine hiring strategies
    • Ensure teams are staffed appropriately to meet project and operational demands
  • Project Management Support:
    • Collaborate with project managers on time and expense management to ensure projects are delivered within budget and time constraints
    • Assist in development of project management tools and processes to enhance efficiency
    • Provide insight into the projects awarded to assist in setting up the tolls of measuring progress and profitability
  • Invoicing and Financial Reporting:
    • Ensure the preparation and submission of accurate and timely invoices to customers
    • Work with finance and project teams to resolve any discrepancies in billing

What youll need:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance or related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in Operations Management within the IT sector
  • At least 3 years in a senior management role
  • Strong understanding of sales financial contract management and project management processes
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a very fast paced and dynamic environment
