Technology Support Engineer

For Destinus Energy we are looking for a Technology Support Engineer to join our Engineering team. In this role you will be providing engineering support for our gas turbine gensets to our Service and Operations teams.

Tasks

The main tasks are:

• Act as the point of contact for our Service team for technical issues in the field.
• Liaise with engineering colleagues to obtain specific knowledge to resolve issues.
• Perform vibration analysis of engine factory tests and field units.
• Drive our remote condition monitoring technology developments including software and hardware improvements.
• Gather and analyze data from the field and provide recommendations.
• Provide reports to clients about the machines status and performance.
• Support the different engineering teams during the rollout of new procedures and specifications applicable for the Service and Operations teams.
• Occasional travel (e.g. customer sites) and work outside of office hours might be required.

Requirements

Desired skills & expertise:

• Bachelors degree in an engineering subject (e.g. mechanical controls electrical mechatronics).
• Some years of relevant work experience is an advantage but recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience of rotating equipment would be an advantage.
• Experience from control systems engineering or PLC programming would be an advantage
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Important competences are: Customer focus flexibility team player good communication skills problem solving.
