Tasks

As a Backend Engineer at peopleIX your main responsibility will be to design develop and maintain a scalable data backend to enable our customers to ingest data into our platform from a wide range of HR Finance and other business systems in other words: you will be the mastermind behind the backbone of our powerful people analytics platform.

In this role you will:

• Join our engineering team to develop the backend of our people analytics platform and shape the product in the early days
• Develop and maintain API integrations with thirdparty systems in a scalable manner
• Design and build a firstclass approach to enable our customers to upload their data in any format in selfservice
• Structure data in a unified model to enable analyses benchmarking and potential AI use cases
• Contribute to our modern tech stack based on a serverless architecture running on AWS (Lambda SQS etc.) using TypeScript and/or Python
• Have a significant impact on defining our culture team and way of working as we keep growing
• Work closely with our CTO Product Data and other teams across peopleIX

Requirements

• M.Sc. B.Sc. or equivalent experience in Computer Science Business Informatics Engineering or another relevant technical field
• Motivated selfstarter with a strong enthusiasm to learn
• Strong expertise in different languages ideally TypeScript and/or Python
• Experience with API integrations at scale is a big plus
• Experience with serverless technologies (e.g. AWS Lambda) and/or eventdriven architectures is a plus
• Experience with IaC is a plus
