Warehouse Supervisor-3rd Shift

• Provide Leadership discipline and support to ensure the highest level of Safety Quality Housekeeping (5S) and professionalism within the shipping department.
  
• Oversee daytoday warehouse operations including receiving stocking transfers restocking and aisle inventory maintenance.
  
• Ensures products and supply stocks are distributed and received in an efficient manner. Assists with inventory.

• Performance metrics and warehouse management system (WMS)
  
• Identify/standardize work procedures and prepare work schedules.
  
• Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting selecting orienting and training employees.
  
• Implements best practice warehouse design by planning layout to optimize space product flow and product handling systems to maximize productivity.
  
• Ensures products and supply stocks are distributed and received in an efficient manner. Assists with inventory as needed.
  
• Perform cycle counts on raw WIP and finished goods inventory and packaging as needed.
  
• Maintain grounds outside of the plant including outside trailer storage areas.
  
• Facilitate customer service requests as needed and ensure shipments/ASN s are sent out on time and correct.
  

Requirements

• Associate s degree from a twoyear college or technical school preferred or equivalent work experience
  
• Minimum of three years experience in a materials function in a manufacturing environment
  
• ERP/Shipping systems.
