The Residential Business Development Manager calls on local residential prospects to develop relationships and gain their flooring business. This is done through prospecting to new potential designers as well as maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing accounts.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable with cold calls and dropins to build his or her customer base. They must be able to manage a CRM and meet weekly goals for calls meetings and connections. They will need to work independently and manage the sales process through strong communications skills and excellent customer service. This candidate must be proactive and driven to build a customer base and continually add new sales opportunities to their pipeline. They will be encouraged to attend networking groups and develop a strong knowledge of the residential designer industry as well as knowledge of flooring products.
