Description:
The Salesforce CPQ Solution Architect role is an admin focused role not a developer role. You will be responsible for working directly with and running client projects from designing the solution to working with a consultant/senior consultant to build the solution as well as writing acceptance criteria for testing and deployment. Design sessions with clients and meetings to define solutions would be the main focus of the role with very light travel on client request estimated at 24 times per year. While we grow you will be expected to get hands on and build. Over time you would hand off designs to a senior consultant who would work on the build of the solution with your oversight.
You are expected to know Salesforce CPQ Sales Cloud Service Cloud and Communities and can put together solutions that span across clouds as well as integrate to other systems such as ERP or CLM systems. Additionally your assistance in general sales scoping would be requested as needed from the sales team.
The role consists of a base salary depending on experience at 120k150k and a billable hour bonus up to 20% paid monthly. You will be measured based on customer satisfaction project quality and project profitability. This is a remote role preferred in the Jacksonville FL area but open to the United States with limited travel.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Build and maintain relationships with clients
Manage client projects
Lead business process reviews (BPRs) to define and document client processes
Hold meetings with clients
Design Salesforce and related AppExchange implementation solutions for clients
Configure Sales Cloud Service Cloud Community Cloud Quotes CPQ Conga Composer and various additional Salesforce and related AppExchange products with Salesforce workflow tools such as Flow and Approval Processes
Continuous training and learning about the Salesforce platform and related AppExchange products including staying up to date on Salesforces releases
Data exporting and importing using tools such as Workbench Data Loader and Dataloader.io
Deployment from Sandbox to Production using Change Sets or DevOps packages such as Copado Essentials
Train clients both their admins on the Salesforce configuration and their trainers/end users on how to use the solution that was configured
Provide support to clients engaged in support agreements
Track time worked throughout the week and provide notes on work done for client project reporting
Requirements:
5 years of experience working with Salesforce CPQ and third party CLM solutions is required.
3 years of experience leading Salesforce CPQ projects in a solution architect role dedicated to working on the Salesforce platform is required. and nbsp;
Salesforce Certified Administrator CPQ Specialist and Sales Cloud Consultant is required
Ability to accurately scope a level of effort based on business processes and needs and translate them into tasks/user stories and prioritize them across a team
Must be able to legally work in the United States without requiring sponsorship of a visa for employment now or in the future
