Job Description
*** Selected candidate must reside within two (2) hours of Federal Headquarters in Woodlawn MD
*** Selected candidate must be willing to work onsite at least 2 days a week.
Position Description:
- Lead the development of highly innovative Software testing automation frameworks achieved through collaboration and dialogue with other experts in the field. The candidate will continually assess advancements in technologies to gauge and recommend better solutions for the customer to improve the software developer experience and efficient delivery of software.
- Mentor and coach technical staff proactively shape product vision and support multiple internal/external initiatives to achieve mission success. The candidate will have past and proven experiences as the Senior Automation validator on large complex projects and enterprise solutions.
- Provide technical advice/input that impact strategic client outputs and Federal Clients business results.
- Involved with end to end automation testing in Agile environment.
- All other duties as assigned or directed.
Key Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Java Selenium BDD cucumber API Automation Maven TDD and Mockito.
- Strong experience in building the Automation Testing framework for the Enterprise level complex applications
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Mathematics Engineering or a related field and 8 years of experience in a trainingrelated field
- Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
Required Skills
- Expertise in using Selenium for web application and automating regression test cases (Selenium WebDriver).
- Strong expertise with API testing
- Expertise in building Automation framework from scratch.
- Strong experience developing test scripts to implement Features Test Scenarios and StepDefinition for BDD (Behavior Driven Development) using Cucumber (Gherkins format) using customized test automation framework
- Experience developing Selenium automation framework using Junit/TestNG frameworks and developing Maven targets to execute automation suites.
- Experience with JAVA JavaScriptbased technologies such as node.js angular.js etc.
- Experience with automation technologies such as Jenkins Maven Junit Mockito.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Scrum and Kanban Agile development process and ceremonies including scrums planning events backlog grooming retrospectives and demos.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills in providing technical direction and handson software development to include design development and testing
Desired Skills
- Proficiency in using Selenium for web application and automating regression test cases (Selenium WebDriver/Selenium Box).
- Experience with Jenkins Auto jobs Stash/Bitbucket
- Experience in configuring execution of automated regressions suite using Jenkins CI/CD pipeline.
- Experience maintaining resources in configuration management tools such as GitHub repository.
- Experience with Version One management tool
- Automation test results debugging.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field with 7+ years of experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field. Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience 9+ years experience as systems/technical analyst. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Required Skills Experience with Version one (Agility) or Jira. Experience working in a scaled agile/scrum environment managing requirements, backlogs and roadmaps of multiple projects and products. Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience engaging in business process analysis, understanding the customer's business process requirements, and capable of translating those business requirements into business and technical documentation and specifications. Support User Interface (UI) and database validation activities by documenting test plans and test scenarios, identifying and creating test data, executing test cases and test scenarios, identifying defects and performing defect management. Strong experience with API Testing. Comprehensive knowledge of Scrum and Kanban Agile development process and ceremonies including scrums, planning events, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and demos. Strong communication and collaborative skills in providing technical direction and hands-on software development to include design, development, and testing. Ability to work as a Co-PM and lead tasks related to project management Demonstrate ability to analyze risks and uncertainties Demonstrate ability to navigate projects through established processes. Analyzing and responding to requirements Developing and leading presentations Ability to communicate with Directors, Customers, and Executives on progress, status and risks about the project Desired Skills Experience with Ready APIs, testing, writing, communication. Experience documenting requirements in the form of epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Experience validating system results match the expectation of the requirements. Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation. PMP certification
