Network Engineer

Role:
As a senior network engineer you will together with the team be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining the organizations network infrastructure with a particular focus on WiFi technologies. You will collaborate with the IT team to ensure the security reliability and performance of the network systems both wired and wireless while also integrating automation into network operations.

Essential requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA CCNP or equivalent are preferred.
• Proficiency in network protocols and technologies including TCP/IP DNS DHCP VLANs and VPNs.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
• Indepth knowledge of wireless networking technologies including 802.11 standards WiFi security protocols (WPA2 WPA3) and WiFi deployment best practices.
• Proficiency in firewalls such as Fortigate / Palo Alto.
• Knowledge of automation within the network area such as infrastructure as code.
