Job Description:
As a Maintenance Engineer you will be essential to ensuring our equipment and machinery run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include preventive maintenance troubleshooting and repairs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. This role demands a strong technical background excellent problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance management.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose failures in mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Analyze downtime reports and recommend improvements projects and activities.
  • Oversee major repairs rebuilds and retrofits of existing production equipment.
  • Facilitate the installation of new production equipment.
  • Execute and enhance preventive maintenance (PM) plans for all production equipment focusing on critical equipment and optimizing PM frequency.
  • Source and procure parts using the SAP system while adhering to purchasing rules.
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for unplanned downtime events.
  • Continuously analyze downtime data machine component failures spare parts inventory support documentation and maintenance repair quality and efficiency.
  • Champion the creation and control of documentation to improve repair quality and reduce repair time for both planned and unplanned activities.
  • Assist in developing standard work instructions for troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
  • Support the development of an effective spare parts inventory system.
  • Provide expert technical support to maintenance technicians when issues arise.
Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a casting and forging environment is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of machinery.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems including rotating equipment hydraulics pneumatics and thermal systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings schematics and manuals for troubleshooting and repair.
  • Familiarity with programmable controllers and industrial robotics including Siemens PLCs and NCs and ABB Robotics.
  • Knowledge of techniques materials tools and equipment used in maintenance.
  • Basic algebra skills and ability to read and interpret measurements.
  • Excellent reasoning and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficiency in operating electrical hand tools and measuring devices with the capability to train technicians in their proper use.
  • Ability to follow stepbystep instructions accurately.
  • Adaptability to changing technologies and ability to learn the functionality of new equipment and systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to establish priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
