Jobt Title: Sales Engineer
Job Overview:
The Sales Engineer will serve as the technical liaison between the sales team and potential clients. This role involves understanding customer needs presenting product solutions and ensuring the successful integration and implementation of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with excellent communication and sales skills.
Responsibilities
- Support sales executives with solution selling into prospect account base
- Partner with sales executives to plan prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles
- Model the financial business case associated with each sales opportunity
- Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions
- Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
- Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses
- Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements
- Collect and document competitive intelligence
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role. Experience in specific industry is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of industryspecific technologies products or services. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record of supporting sales teams and achieving sales targets. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- ProblemSolving: Analytical mindset with strong problemsolving abilities. Capable of developing creative solutions to meet client needs.
- Organizational Skills: Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams. Team player with a collaborative approach.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
REMUNERATION
Remuneration for this role is capped at N150000
