Job Description

Professional Jeweller is the UK s leading specialist jewellery title read by thousands of brand executives retailers and consumers every day.

It comprises a monthly magazine website email daily news alert social media and events.

Last year we launched a second edition of the title in the United States which means we need to grow our commercial team to build sales on both sides of the Atlantic.

This is a fulltimeofficebased role in fashionable Clerkenwell close to London s Farringdon and Hatton Garden the epicentre of the UK s jewellery business.

There will also be regular trips around the country and abroad to shows in Italy Germany the Middle East and the United States.

The Role

  • Proactively selling and delivering events and advertising packages to potential customers
  • Identifying potential lead sources and prospects for new business
  • Cold calling to prospect for business
  • Creating and maintaining sales reports
  • Data mining and reporting
  • Creation of sponsorship/commercial proposals
  • Management of client base to ensure we deliver across all our mediums to the best possible standard


Requirements

The ideal candidate will combine a love of luxury and jewellery with proven experience in new business sales and account management across print digital and events.

You will be joining a fastgrowing media and events company with a team of 20 in the London office and additional offices in Germany Switzerland and Dubai.

Our London office is part of the multinational ITP Media Group headquartered in Dubai which employs over 400 people around the world.

The role requires someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively handle customers enquiries and gain a clear understanding of customers requirements.

The role requires an organised and selfmotivated person with the ability to interact well in a team whilst building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

Strong communication and sales skills are imperative to being successful in this role.
