Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated healthcare professional to oversee and enhance our Occupational Health Program. This role involves ensuring compliance with government regulations providing emergency medical care and promoting overall employee wellness.
Duties:
- Administer and evaluate all phases of the Occupational Health Program.
- Provide immediate and preventative care for employees and contractors.
- Conduct nursing evaluations pulmonary function testing respirator fit testing and audiograms.
- Manage health surveillance programs in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Coordinate with management on employee health issues and work restrictions.
- Lead wellness programs and health screenings to enhance employee wellbeing.
- Assist in emergency response planning and training for First Aid CPR and Infection Control.
- Oversee drug and alcohol testing and annual physicals for employees and contractors.
- Maintain and manage medical records and equipment inspections.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with Occupational Health Certification or 10 years of relevant experience.
- Specimen Collector Certification ACLS Certification Audio Testing Certification with CAOHC and NIOSH qualification in Pulmonary Function Testing.
- Strong critical thinking communication and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to exert up to 40 lbs. of force occasionally and perform jobspecific physical tasks.
Required: Registered Nurse with Occupational Health Certification or 10+ years of relevant experience. Specimen Collector Certification, ACLS Certification, Audio Testing Certification with CAOHC, and NIOSH qualification in Pulmonary Function Testing.
