Executive Marketing Communication and PR
Role Purpose
Responsible for executing daytoday operations of the department to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the Institute.
Reports to
Manager Marketing Communication and PR
Educational Qualification and Experience
Graduate in any discipline preferably with a postgraduate degree/postgraduate diploma in Marketing/Media and Communication/PR/ Business Administration or related field.
AND
Minimum 1 year of experience in executing marketing campaigns and initiatives across multiple channels social media email print and digital marketing in a training/teaching institution or relevant industry.
Experience in marketing & PR in a training/teaching institute will be an advantage.
Key Areas of Responsibility and Accountability
Responsible for executing daytoday operations of the department to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the Institute.
Advertising & PR:
Support in implementing advertising communications and event activities to attract and retain students industry and other partners.
Execute effective PR initiatives across digital and offline channels which build positive brand awareness.
Support in conceptualizing events planning the agenda inviting key speakers/panelists media and social media coverage coordinating logistics and ensuring followups of events.
Marketing Communications:
Support in executing the external communication of the institute through social media website newsletter press and media coverage.
Updating/posting content on the institute s social media platforms
Producing & updating marketing material (brochures posters flyers etc.) for any events/programs
Preparing marketing collateral for the school s corporate relations activities
Contribute to the institute s website including content and the institute s social media channels.
Collaboration with Other Departments & External Partners:
Work closely with academic departments faculty and administrative staff to produce and update content.
Build and develop close reciprocal relationships with partners that may include kit suppliers media partners event organizers industry & Govt. Stakeholders
Compliance and Policy Adherence:
Track and provide regular reports on performance of all marketing activities in line with business objectives.
Stay informed about relevant educational regulations accreditation standards and institutional policies.
Key Competencies Required:
Strong copywriting and proofing skills with a flair for creative writing
Experience of building relationships with multiple stakeholders including third parties such media event organizers
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Good knowledge of MS office (PowerPoint Excel etc.)
