REQUIRED SKILLS

• Need someone who has tested hardware (NOT the application) such as a selfcheck out register Toshiba 4690.

Requirements:

5 years of experience as a Manual/Automation QA tester

3 years of experience specifically with retail POS systems

Experience creating and executing test cases as well as assisting in the creation of test plans

Ability to analyze data and application problems and quickly determine root cause

Strongly preferred: Experience with Toshiba/IBM POS systems

Experience with Retail testing including order management inventory management data management and data analytics areas is a plus

Experience with application testing in an enterpriselevel environment

Proficiency in SQL able to write basic queries based on test data requirements is a plus

Experience with POS Automation is advantageous

Automation skills using Shell scripts/Python are beneficial

Good Understanding of Enterprise Data movements using MQ MIM applications

Familiarity with Linux and Unix commands

Experience working with multiple databases such as DB2 Oracle SQL Server MySQL POSTGRES

Basic hardware software and networking knowledge
