Job Summary:
To provide effective and efficient administrative support to the professional and technical officers within Building Control
The role will involve dealing with the public and service users and to ensure high standards of quality and customer care and timeliness in carrying out these functions. To make suggestions for improvements in service delivery if appropriate and to participate in the redesign of systems processes and procedures.
Key Duties/Accountabilities:
To provide a front line team response to incoming calls dealing efficiently effectively and courteously with callers in person or by telephone and taking messages as appropriate.
To deal with unhappy customers and difficult circumstances in an effective manner on a regular basis.
To assist in developing the day to day interaction.
Essential Experience Required:
Highlevel skills in the usage of IT databases applications and document management systems.
Competent level in the use of appropriate Microsoft Office packages or equivalent.
The ability to be consistent accurate and timely in the entry and retrieval of data.
Essential Qualifications Required:
NVQ level 2 in Admin or Secretarial
Additional information to note:
35 hours per week
