Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days 7:00 AM 7:30 PM 12

Shift Notes: 12hr shifts Friday Saturday and Sunday 36hr gt

Weekend Requirements: Part of shift/Holiday coverage required if needed/scheduled

OnCall Requirements: TBD

Traveler Policy: LOCAL TRAVELERS (those who reside within 50 miles of the facility) WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED. To avoid delays in processing please provide a perm address at profile upload.

Dress code: Hospital blue scrubs (provided) business casual with a lab coat and basic plain personal scrubs. No hooded sweatshirts. Closedtoe shoes shoessneakers or clogs. Hair worn pulled back if longer than shoulder length no dangling earrings.

** Requested time off during this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED. NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

• Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimum views of the specified area of body requested by Physician.
• Must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures.
• Moves radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified positions and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.
• Operates film processing equipment.
• Operates mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in the operating room emergency room or at the patients bedside.
• Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff.
• Ability to prioritize and organize daily workflow.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills.

• 1 year of current Xray tech experience in a hospital setting Required
• MUST be proficient/highly experienced with the following; Fluoroscopy Digital Radiography Portables & OR carm Required
• MUST have experience with ALL age groups Required
• Previous travel experience Preferred
