Job Description
- Leads and manages newly established Department of Education which has substantial policy and operational functions to achieve the Government’s priorities in the delivery of education across Bougainville.
- Leads and manages the delivery of robust and quality education services by 3,500 teachers across Bougainville including primary education, secondary education, tertiary education, technical and vocational education and training (TVET), adult literacy, education policy and curriculum development
- Develops policies, practices, systems and capacity development approaches for enhancing the government’s ability to deliver education services including the provision of facilities and infrastructure, training for teachers and other and inspection and performance assessment.
