Public Used Car Operations Manager Job Description

1. Inventory Management: Managing the acquisition evaluation and maintenance of used cars inventory. This includes sourcing vehicles assessing their condition
and determining pricing strategies
2. Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that all cars meet safety and quality standards. Address any issues with vehicle condition promptly.
3. Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies pricing policies and promotions to drive sales and maximize profitability.
4. Staff Management: Hire train and manage sales procurement and support staff. Monitor performance provide feedback and facilitate teamwork.
5. Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service throughout the sales process addressing customer inquiries concerns and complaints as needed.
6. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Streamline workflows where possible.
7. Vendor and Supplier Relations: Manage relationships with suppliers service providers and contractors to ensure timely and costeffective services.
8. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the business complies with all relevant laws and regulations including those related to used car sales and safety standards.
9. Inventory Turnover: Analyze inventory turnover rates and implement strategies to optimize the balance between supply and demand.
10. Facility Maintenance: Ensure that the showroom is wellmaintained and comply with safety and cleanliness standards.
11. Sales Reporting: Generate and analyze sales reports tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing insights to upper management.
12. Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback to make improvements in products and services.
13. Technology Integration: Implement technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
14. Security and Safety: Implement security measures to protect the inventory and ensure the safety of employees and customers.
