Job Title: Network Security Engineer

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Design implement and maintain network security solutions including firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) VPNs and network access control (NAC) systems.
• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement security policies procedures and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design and deploy secure network architectures and solutions.
• Stay uptodate with emerging threats and technologies in cybersecurity to continuously improve our security posture.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer or similar role with a focus on designing and implementing security solutions.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts protocols and technologies including TCP/IP DNS DHCP VLANs and routing protocols.
• Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls IDS/IPS VPNs and NAC systems.
• Proficiency in security assessment tools and techniques including vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as NIST ISO/IEC 27001 and CIS Controls.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
