(1) Responsible for enterprisewide data design balancing optimization of data access with batch loading and resource utilization factors.
(2) Knowledgeable in most aspects of designing and constructing data architectures operational data stores and data marts.
(3) Focuses on enterprisewide data modeling and design.
(4) Defines data architecture standards policies and procedures for the organization structure attributes and nomenclature of data elements and applies accepted data content standards to technology projects.
(5) Responsible for business analysis data acquisition and access analysis and design Database Systems optimization recovery strategy and load strategy design and implementation.
(6) Works with other architects on data decisions and data strategy.
(7) Identifies data sources needed for solution.
(8) Ensures data security is implemented for solutions.
