Job Description

Overview

The Business Development Manager plays a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of the organization through identifying new business opportunities building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets. This role is integral to the overall success of the company as the Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue fostering business growth and ensuring the organizations competitive position in the market.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to build the sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies
  • Build and maintain strong longlasting customer relationships
  • Negotiate and close deals with key clients
  • Conduct market research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to develop new products services and distribution channels
  • Lead the proposal process by working with crossfunctional teams to deliver compelling proposals and presentations
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients
  • Meet and exceed sales targets
  • Monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against goals
  • Stay updated on industry trends market activities and competitors
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to generate new business leads
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management
  • Train and mentor the sales team to ensure continuous growth and development
