Overview:
The HR Recruiter plays a crucial role in attracting sourcing and hiring talented individuals to drive the growth and success of the organization. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers creating effective recruitment strategies and ensuring a seamless hiring process to bring in top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
- Screen resumes and application forms
- Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods
- Assess applicants relevant knowledge skills soft skills experience and aptitudes
- Promote the companys reputation as a great place to work
- Maintain candidate databases
- Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs
- Stay uptodate with current recruiting methods and best practices
- Network with potential hires through professional groups and social media
- Attend job fairs and organize employment events
- Keep detailed records of past applicants information including resumes and interview evaluations
- Communicate employer information and benefits during screening process
- Work with external recruiters and staffing agencies to identify and recruit candidates
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or relevant field
- Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an inhouse recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
- Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured competencybased stress etc.)
- Handson experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing reference check etc.)
- Familiarity with HR databases Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
- Handson experience with recruiting software as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
- Strong decisionmaking skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites
