Overview:
The position of Billing and TPA Staff in the Account Department is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate processing of billing and thirdparty administrator (TPA) activities. The role involves maintaining smooth operations during the evening shift from 2 to 10 pm and plays a vital part in the financial processes of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process billing invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Handle TPA processing efficiently and effectively
- Ensure compliance with billing and TPA regulations and guidelines
- Resolve billing discrepancies and issues promptly
- Collaborate with other department staff to obtain necessary billing information
- Assist in the preparation of billing reports and analysis
- Update and maintain billing and TPA records
- Communicate with TPA representatives and resolve any related issues
- Participate in regular training to stay updated on billing and TPA practices
- Work within established deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in billing and TPA processing
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to manage time effectively and work in a fastpaced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with billing software and systems
- Capability to handle confidential and sensitive information securely
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in accounting or related field is a plus
- Experience working in an evening shift is preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
