Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and passionate UI Automation Engineer to join our team and play a key role in developing and maintaining our automated testing frameworks. You will be responsible for creating and executing automated tests using Playwright with TypeScript and JavaScript ensuring the quality and functionality of our web applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain robust and scalable UI automation tests using Playwright.
- Write clean maintainable and efficient test code with best practices in TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to understand functional requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
- Identify and implement automated testing strategies for various application functionalities.
- Debug and troubleshoot test failures to identify root causes and ensure test stability.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in UI automation frameworks and best practices.
Qualifications:
- 45 years of experience in UI automation testing.
- Proven experience with Playwright TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of web development concepts (HTML CSS and JavaScript).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI/CD) is a plus.
- Excellent communication collaboration and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crossfunctional team.
- Passion for automation and a strong desire to improve software quality.
