Pediatrician consultant for Chhattisgarh location

Overview

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations of pediatric patients to assess their health and development
• Diagnose and treat various acute and chronic illnesses specific to children
• Create and implement treatment plans tailored to each patients individual needs
• Provide guidance and support to families regarding child healthcare nutrition and wellness
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as nurses and specialists to ensure holistic care for pediatric patients
• Document patient information and treatment plans accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) or electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Stay updated with the latest medical research and developments in pediatric care
• Participate in educational initiatives for patients families and the community related to pediatric health and wellness
• Adhere to established clinical protocols and standards of care
• Respond to and manage pediatric medical emergencies
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Contribute to multidisciplinary care team meetings and discussions
• Maintain a compassionate and empathetic approach when interacting with pediatric patients and their families
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards in pediatric healthcare

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree in Pediatrics from a recognized institution
• Valid and current medical license to practice as a Pediatrician in Chhattisgarh
• Board certification in Pediatrics is preferred
• Proven experience working as a Pediatrician preferably in a clinical setting
• Excellent diagnostic and clinical decisionmaking abilities specific to pediatric care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and family interactions
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) or electronic health records (EHR) systems
