Job Description

Overview

As a BAMS RMO (Resident Medical Officer) based in Shahjahanpur Uttar Pradesh you will play a vital role in providing medical care to patients and ensuring the smooth operation of medical facilities. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients collaborating with other healthcare professionals and ensuring that all medical protocols are followed to deliver highquality patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide medical treatment to patients based on their condition and needs.
  • Examine and diagnose patients to develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient care including conducting regular patient rounds.
  • Coordinate with consultants and specialists for critical cases and emergencies.
  • Admit patients and oversee their care during hospitalization.
  • Ensure compliance with medical protocols and standards of care.
  • Participate in training and educational programs for staff and patients.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  • Handle medical emergencies with prompt and efficient action.
  • Maintain accurate and updated medical records and patient documentation.
  • Stay updated with the latest medical developments and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the nursing and support staff for effective patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and progress.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards set by regulatory bodies.
  • Support in administrative duties related to medical services and facilities.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or relevant state medical council.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Resident Medical Officer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of emergency medicine and critical care.
  • Excellent diagnostic and clinical decisionmaking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in highpressure situations and handle medical emergencies.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
  • Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology for diagnosis and treatment.
  • Commitment to upholding medical ethics and patient confidentiality.
  • Capability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary medical team.
  • Adherence to professional development and continuous learning in the medical field.
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts and emergency oncall duties.
  • Compassion empathy and dedication to providing quality patient care.
