Job Description

Overview

The Business Development Executive plays a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of the organization by identifying new business opportunities building relationships with potential clients and fostering partnerships that contribute to the companys bottom line. This position is vital in devising and implementing strategies to enhance the organisations market presence and achieve revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential clients and partners to build a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Engage in cold calling and networking to create interest in the companys products or services
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to ensure ongoing business
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies that drive revenue growth
  • Present and pitch the companys offerings to prospective clients and partners
  • Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
  • Negotiate and close deals with clients and partners
  • Participate in events and conferences to represent the company and expand its network
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and areas for expansion
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the business
  • Track and report on business development activities and results
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and adapt them to enhance business development strategies
  • Contribute to the development of a strong and sustainable business pipeline

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field
  • Proven experience in business development sales or a relevant role
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and business objectives
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques and business development principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Ability to multitask prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities
  • Knowledge of market research and analysis techniques
  • Adaptability to dynamic market conditions and evolving business needs
  • Proactive and selfmotivated approach to achieving targets
  • Willingness to travel and attend industry events as required
