Job Description

Overview

The Business Development Associate plays a crucial role in driving the growth of the organization by identifying potential business opportunities building client relationships and strategically pursuing new markets and partnerships. They contribute to the companys bottom line through generating new sales leads implementing sales strategies and nurturing client relationships to achieve revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to generate revenue and expand the companys customer base
  • Research and analyze potential markets industries and clients to identify potential for growth and expansion
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and engagement
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement targeted sales strategies
  • Conduct market research to identify trends competitor activities and potential opportunities for the organization
  • Generate leads cold call and network to proactively identify and pursue new business prospects
  • Participate in meetings conferences and industry events to represent the company and promote its services
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations proposals and pitches to potential clients
  • Negotiate and close deals with clients to achieve sales targets and revenue objectives
  • Track and report on sales activities pipeline and results to ensure targets are achieved
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and manage ongoing relationships
  • Stay updated on industry trends market activities and competitor insights to adapt sales strategies accordingly
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials campaigns and promotional activities to support sales efforts
  • Provide feedback to management on market trends customer needs and product enhancements to drive future growth
  • Represent the company with integrity and professionalism at all times

Required qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field
  • Prior experience in sales business development or a related field
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles practices and techniques
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and build rapport with clients
  • Proven ability to conduct market research analyze data and identify market trends
  • Proficiency in CRM software sales tracking systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
  • Selfmotivated goaloriented and resultsdriven mindset
  • Willingness to travel and attend client meetings or industry events as required
  • Knowledge of industryspecific regulations trends and competitive landscape
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and respond strategically to new opportunities and challenges
  • High level of professionalism integrity and ethical behavior
  • Experience in B2B sales or selling complex solutions is a plus
