Job Description

Overview

An Agency Manager plays a crucial role in leading and managing a team of insurance agents to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service. This position is vital to the organization as the Agency Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the agency driving business growth and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Recruit train and supervise a team of insurance agents
  • Set and communicate sales targets and goals to the team
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive agency growth
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance and activity reports
  • Ensure adherence to underwriting and pricing guidelines
  • Provide guidance and support to agents in complex sales situations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients partners and stakeholders
  • Manage agency budgets expenses and profitability
  • Stay updated on industry trends regulations and best practices
  • Resolve escalated customer complaints and issues
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to agents
  • Identify training and development needs for the team
  • Implement and enforce company policies procedures and standards
  • Collaborate with marketing and other departments to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance or related field
  • Proven experience in insurance sales with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products services and regulations
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and motivate highperforming sales teams
  • Sound decisionmaking and problemsolving abilities
  • Proficiency in sales management and CRM software
  • Strategic thinking and business development acumen
  • Thorough understanding of market dynamics and customer needs
  • Certification in insurance and risk management is a plus
  • Proven ability to drive results in a competitive and dynamic environment
  • Effective time and resource management skills
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours as needed
  • Sound knowledge of financial principles and risk assessment
