Overview
As a Staff Nurse at our facility in Rajpura Punjab you will play a crucial role in delivering highquality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to promote and maintain patients health and wellbeing through compassionate and comprehensive care.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including administering medications dressing wounds and monitoring vital signs
- Assess and evaluate patients needs develop and implement nursing care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members
- Ensure adherence to infection control policies and protocols
- Document patients medical information and maintain accurate patient records
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
- Support and educate patients and their families on disease management and recovery
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to evidencebased practice
- Supervise and mentor nursing assistants and other support staff
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or relevant field
- Valid nursing license and registration with the State Nursing Council
- Proven experience as a Staff Nurse or similar role in a healthcare setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments and nursing care procedures
- Sound knowledge of medical terminology and patient care best practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic healthcare environment
- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients and their families
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and healthcare software
- Willingness to work in shifts and handle varying workload demands
