Position: Development Leader (Java)
Location: Miami FL Onsite from Day1
Note: This is not a Lead /Architect/ PM/ VP role This is a kind of Development leader for the entire company to handle all development projects and handson experience in Java development in our company all the Java Hiring Managers and VP in Development are reporting to him.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Java Development Leader to oversee all software development projects within our company focusing primarily on projects that involve AWS and Angular. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development cloud services and modern frontend frameworks with proven leadership skills to manage and mentor a team of developers.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management
Lead manage and mentor a team of Java developers.
Ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
Facilitate daily standups sprint planning and retrospectives.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
Technical Oversight
Architect design and implement scalable Java applications.
Ensure high performance scalability and reliability of all Javabased projects.
Oversee the integration of AWS services into existing and new applications.
Guide the development of frontend applications using Angular.
Ensure code quality and best practices through code reviews and automated testing.
Project Management
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.
Create detailed project plans and track progress against milestones.
Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Communicate project status and updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with other development teams QA and DevOps to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
Foster a collaborative environment with crossfunctional teams.
Act as the main point of contact for all Javarelated projects within the company.
Innovation & Strategy
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Propose innovative solutions to enhance the companys technology stack.
Contribute to the strategic planning of the companys technology roadmap.
Education
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
Experience
1520 years of experience in Handling Java development projects.
710 years in a leadership role managing software development teams.
Proven experience with AWS services (e.g. EC2 S3 RDS Lambda).
10 Years Proven experience with Spring Boot MicroServices APIs Angular AWS ..etc.
Solid experience with frontend development like Angular React ..etc.
Skills
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Proficient in using project management tools (e.g. Jira Trello).
Technical Proficiency
Java Spring/Spring Boot MicroServices Reactive Programming.
AWS Cloud services.
Experience with containerization (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
Angular/React TypeScript HTML CSS.
RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture.
Relational and NoSQL databases.
DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in AWS or Java development.
Experience with other frontend frameworks (e.g. React Vue.js).
