Data Science AI Specialist

Job Summary: The Data Scientist & AI Specialist functions as the bridge between business and data. This role involves applying advanced analytical methods and tools to derive value from data delivering effective storytelling insights and visualizations to drive enterprise growth. By analyzing patterns and trends through techniques such as classification clustering predictive modeling forecasting recommendation engines and other deep learning algorithms the Data Scientist & AI Specialist will develop datadriven solutions tailored to the enterprises needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Mining and Analysis:

• Extract usable data from valuable data sources and lead in exploring and discovering datadriven opportunities.
• Process cleanse and validate the integrity of structured semistructured and unstructured data for analysis.
• Analyze large amounts of information to identify patterns and solutions.

Model Development and Deployment:

• Develop prediction systems and machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms.
• Design and develop new processes for data modeling and production helping businesses create and track key performance metrics.
• Ensure that environments created during model development and training can be replicated easily for final AIbased solutions.

Collaboration and Support:

• Assist data architects and data engineers in data gathering techniques and design processes for maintaining databases data accuracy and integrity.
• Partner with crossfunctional teams such as Engineering Product Management and Design to collaborate on projects.
• Use agile methodology/sprintrelease to deliver data products in a timely manner.

Visualization and Communication:

• Present information using data visualization and storytelling techniques.
• Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges communicating actionable insights to a nontechnical audience.

Innovation and Best Practices:

• Implement world best practices in building dynamic and scalable models to adapt to changes.
• Choose the best tools and techniques for algorithms AI frameworks and technologies.
• Stay updated with the latest AI and machine learning advancements to proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

Essential Data Science Skills:

• Statistical Analysis: Identify patterns in data including pattern detection and anomaly detection.
• Machine Learning: Implement algorithms and statistical models to enable automatic learning from data.
• Computer Science: Apply principles of AI database systems human/computer interaction numerical analysis and software engineering.
• Programming: Proficient in Java R Python SQL and other relevant languages.
• Data Storytelling: Communicate actionable insights using data for a nontechnical audience.
• Business Intuition: Connect with stakeholders to understand the problems theyre looking to solve.
• Analytical Thinking: Find analytical solutions to abstract business issues.
• Critical Thinking: Apply objective analysis of facts before reaching conclusions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Science Statistics or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods machine learning deep learning and AI algorithms.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java R Python and SQL.
• Experience with big data technologies and tools.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Knowledge of distributed architecture and big data technologies.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks and tools.
