Job Description

The MLH Group is a privatelyowned company with interests in financial and management services distribution facilities management and ICT management. We maintain acquire and grow businesses through business process reengineering. The successful candidate will manage the purchasing process on behalf of the group.


Responsibilities

  • Research and source credible vendors.
  • Compare and evaluate offers from vendors.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing with vendors.
  • Liaise and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the quality of stock purchases.
  • Complete purchases and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collect and deliver packages to recipients.
  • Review quality of purchased products.
  • Coordinate the logistics of purchase orders stock transfers deliveries tagging and processing.
  • Develop and implement inventory control systems and practices.
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products pricing reports delivery information and invoices.
  • Generate purchase and pricing reports cost analyses and supply chain analyses.
  • Perform regular stock checks.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place stock orders as needed.


Requirements

  • Knowledge of inventory management software such as Zoho Inventory NetSuite or Fishbowl.
  • Understanding of inventory management practices such as ABC analysis and cycle counting.
  • Good analytical and logistical thinking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration and negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Honesty and integrity.
  • Must have a valid driver s license.
  • Undergraduate degree in inventory management logistics business administration or a similar field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in purchasing logistics or inventory management.
