Your key responsibilities

System Stability and Performance: Monitor maintain and optimize the reliability availability and performance of production systems and services.

Automation: Create and deploy automation tools for infrastructure and application deployment monitoring and scaling while also identifying opportunities for innovation across technology processes and operations.

Incident and Problem Management: Respond to and resolve incidents troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

Capacity Planning: Analyze resource usage trends and plan capacity requirements to ensure scalability and costeffectiveness.

Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in processes tools and systems and drive initiatives to enhance reliability efficiency and performance.

Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including developers DevOps engineers to ensure alignment of goals and priorities.

Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for systems processes and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.

Oncall Rotation: Participate in an oncall rotation schedule to provide 24/7 support for production systems and services.

Desired qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field or equivalent work experience.

Strong experience in system administration Production Support or SRE roles.

Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems principles.

Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python or Bash/Shell.

Possess a comprehensive grasp of cloud computing platforms such as AWS GCP and Azure as well as proficiency in container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes. Certifications in relevant platforms such as Microsoft Azure Fundamental GCPAssociate Cloud Engineer or AWS certifications.

Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk Azure Log Analytics GCP Log Explorer.

Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with a focus on teamwork and knowledge sharing.
