Position Description:

Ford Motor Company is undertaking an effort to deploy SAP Production Planning (PP) and Inventory Management (IM) functionality to support Supply Chain and Manufacturing production operations. This job request is for SAP Functional Consultant role with expertise in S4Hana Implementation for SAP module Production Planning (PP). This is a hybrid position and the SAP Functional Consultant PP will collaborate with colleagues and teams in our Dearborn MI office.

• Understand the current business process across all regions / plants.
• Understand the functionality of current Legacy Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and associated upstream and downstream systems.
• Work with various stakeholders to study the transformation of current process / legacy systems to Industry best standards/ technology/ systems focusing on the SAP PP module.
• Preform Requirements Gathering Business Analysis and FitGap/ FittoStandard Analysis to understand the asis/tobe states and identify key functionalities /process gaps.
• Recommend possible technology / process solutions to address gaps.
• Support user acceptant testing cutover activities data migration and Post GoLive support.
• Develop SAP S/4Hana PP across various sites globally and integrate with both legacy & other bestinbreed applications.
• Coach / Train the team on SAP PP functions in the endtoend business processes.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Fords internal SAP Platform team
• Stay current on SAP trends emerging technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Skills Required:

Business Knowledge solution expertise consultation skills in SAP PP module. SAP IPPE PPDS and Variant capabilities. Respect and empathy for team members. Business partner and product customer.

Experience Required:

• Experience in deployment of SAP PP module in both Greenfield/ Brownfield sites.
• Experience in SAP PP module configuration (Discrete/ Repetitive).
• Experience in working in S/4Hana environment.
• Experience in integrating with SIEMENS PLM / other PLM Solutions /KINAXIS tools /MES Systems etc.

Experience Preferred:

Experience in Automotive / Manufacturing industry

Education Required:

Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification in computer science engineering or related disciplines

Education Preferred:

Relevant SAP Certification
