This is a Permanent role and we offer a salary of 25500. Please note we do NOT offer sponsorship.
This is a permanent full time role.

The main purpose of the Deputy Service Manager is to assist in the operational management of the service and its staff whist promoting the health safety wellbeing social and personal development of each tenant.
The main responsibilities of the Deputy Service Manager:
To be an excellent role model motivator and assist with the management of the staff team
To promote and maintain positive working relationships.
Assist in the development and outcome based person centred support plans for tenants.
To assist in the implementation and monitoring of systems which ensure the autismspecific nature of the service provided.
To assist in the preparation of reports.
To assist in the planning preparation and lead regular staff meetings.
To ensure Safeguarding Procedures are fully understood and followed.
To be trained in level 2 Safeguarding Adults at risk of abuse
To have a working knowledge of health and safety issues within the service.
As part of the senior team provide oncall service across the week and be able to work flexible hours according to the needs of the service
Develop excellent relationships with community services such as neighbours and tenants local GP practices health care professionals and special community police support
To ensure that a safe secure and structured living environment is provided and maintained to each tenant which consistently responds to their autism mental and physical health needs
To ensure tenants rights are respected and adhered to by all
To demonstrate best practice in the support and management of individual s autism challenging behaviour mental health and other comorbidities.
Assist the Service Manager to deliver programmes in the specific areas of care leisure and recreational activities both within the service and in the community.
Assist in the safe storage ordering and administration of medication.
Support tenants to manage their weekly finances and benefits within protocols
To encourage open and positive relationships between staff
To assist the manager in ensuring that appropriate staffing levels are maintained at all times.
Assist with staff supervision to help monitor and evaluate the standards of training and provision within the service.
