Position: Production Engineer

Location: Chennai

Exp: 3 Years

Responsibilities:

Production Planning and Oversight:

Collaborate with the production team to develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes for rigging equipment.

Create and maintain production schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.

Monitor production processes identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to increase efficiency.

Quality Control:

Develop and implement quality control procedures for the fabrication of rigging products.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality specifications.

Investigate and address any quality issues working closely with the production team to implement corrective actions.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and uptodate records of production and quality control activities.

Generate reports detailing production performance quality metrics and any deviations from established standards.

Communicate findings to relevant stakeholders and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction while maintaining or improving product quality.

Collaborate with the engineering team to implement design changes that enhance the manufacturability of rigging products.

Training and Development:

Provide training to production staff on quality control procedures safety protocols and best practices.

Stay current with industry trends regulations and advancements and share knowledge with the team.

Collaboration:

Work closely with crossfunctional teams including engineering procurement and project management to ensure seamless coordination throughout the production process.

Act as a liaison between the production team and other departments to address issues and optimize processes.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience in production and quality control within the rigging or heavy equipment industry.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality assurance principles.

Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.

Proficient in using relevant software and tools for documentation and reporting.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Must Haves: Prior Sales / BD experience of 2-7 years minimum. Market Knowledge of base location Key Accounting Knowledge. Mapping Competitor activity. Concept Selling skills. Analytical approach Bachelor s degree in engineering or related field. Proven track record in technical sales, specifically within the ropeway and cable car industries. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Mumbai or India. Strong understanding of steel wire rope specifications, manufacturing processes, and industry regulations
