CNC Turner - Setter Operator

CNC TURNER SETTER / OPERATOR

Our client is an industry leading gear manufacturing company. Their customers are in the Aerospace Defence & OEM markets. They are looking to employ on a fulltime permanent basis an experienced CNC Turner. This role will be based out of their workshop located in Hampshire.

CNC Turner Offer

15hr to 18hr depending on experience

Hours are MonThurs 07:00 to 15:45 and Fri 06:00 to 13:00 a 40.0hour week

CNC Turner Responsibilities

Set and operate CNC turning and milling machines (Mazak etc.)

Change machine setting from one job to another within a set time frame

Ability to read and understand programs

Able to use micrometres verniers and other inspection equipment to check work to drawing dimensions and validation sheets

Meet desired quantities conducting inprocess inspection and checking against drawings and specifications

Work in accordance to the quality system and processes of the company

Report any issues to the Unit Manager or Supervisor asap

Adhere to the company s health and safety requirements and complete training as required

CNC Turner Requirements

Qualification in engineering or similar field.

3 5 years relevant experience in a similar industry/role.

The ability to read technical / mechanical drawings.

Knowledge and experience of systematic problem solving.

Be able to work effectively and efficiently to meet target deadlines.
