Job Role: Product Development Manager (remote)

Location: Orlando Florida

Type: Temporary Project

Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: This is a fulltime remote position Monday through Friday

Required:
Hightech industry product engineering and/or IT work experience (710 years);
Management experience in educationrelated products such as a Learning Management System or Student Information System;
Experience with Azure DevOps (spring planning monitoring backlog refinement bug tracking etc.);
Experience with managing team(s) responsible for software hardware design engineering and development functions.

Preferred:
Scrum Master or Project Management Experience and/or certification.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Manage research and development activities relating to the design and development of software or hardware products and qualification or requalification of new and existing products;
Work with a crossfunctional team to ensure fulfillment of product requirements evaluate product performance and transition products from development to commercialization;
Assist in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases feature and maintenance releases and regular corrective service or service pack releases;
Act as a technical consultant to the product organization and lead research and prototyping of innovative technologies and products;
Ensure the technology and architectural roadmap of engineering is properly aligned with and supports the product / business roadmap;
Act as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration custom development and requirements;
May lead major releases and ensure feature enhancements respond to customer requests.
