Job Description
General Takaful Underwriter
The candidate must independently be able to:
- Attend to all enquiries received, prepare quotations, approve and issue policies.
- Process facultative enquiries received from local insurance and reinsurance market as well as from insurance companies in the region.
- Evaluate such risks received and ensure the same within the treaty terms/limits and prepare assessment sheet.
- Renewal follow-ups.
Business lines include all types of policies of the following: fire, engineering, general accident, sabotage and tourism, marine and liability.
CII-related qualifications would be an advantage
