Are you passionate about data analysis and cybersecurity Do you thrive in a dynamic and crossfunctional environment Axpo in Madrid is seeking a committed Application Owner for SPLUNK and Data Analyst to join our team. In this role you will have the opportunity to bring your expertise and commitment to the successful implementation and execution of our IT services. Youll enjoy the freedom and flexibility to introduce and implement your own ideas and solutions working closely with various stakeholders across the organization.

What you will do:

  • Introduce and further develop the SPLUNK platform with necessary functionalities.
  • Develop and implement SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) solutions using Splunk to efficiently conduct Service Monitoring and Security Monitoring.
  • Create and manage complex Splunk search queries and reports to identify and evaluate security incidents.
  • Analyze data and logs to identify security vulnerabilities and ensure service quality.
  • Keep updated on the latest developments in Splunk technology and SIEM best practices.

What you bring & who you are:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in data analysis particularly in Service Monitoring and Security Monitoring using Splunk as an SIEM solution.
  • Demonstrable experience with Splunk query languages for SIEM purposes.
  • Proficiency in identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities as well as ensuring service quality.
  • Strong ability to communicate with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Team player with the ability to effectively work in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus.
