Job Title: Back End Engineer

Location: McLean VA/Hybrid

Duration: 12 months

Description: We are seeking a skilled Back End Engineer to join our team for a 12month duration. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Java Python Spring Boot framework and AWS technologies. This role will be based in McLean VA with a hybrid work model.

Required Skills:

• 6 years of experience in software engineering with at least 2 years in data engineering.
• Proficiency in software design patterns with 4 years of experience in Micro Services REST API asynchronous messaging distributed systems and related patterns.
• Strong understanding of data structures ETL data warehousing and related data engineering technologies.
• Handson experience (2 years) with AWS technologies including EC2 ECS EMR S3 RDS and Lambda.
• Proficiency in Java programming (4 years) with expertise in Spring Spring Boot Docker etc.
• Proficiency in Python programming (3 years) with expertise in Spark PySpark etc.
• Experience with full development life cycle agile methodology and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to work in a team environment.

Optional Skills:

• Experience in designing building and troubleshooting realtime largescale systems in a multitiered distributed environment.
• Deep understanding of system and application performance tradeoffs load balancing and engineering for high availability.
• Handson experience with AWS Serverless Technologies including Glue Fargate and DynamoDB.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or above certification.
